The Iowa City Jazz Festival has garnered awards and recognition from local and national organizations on both artistic and economic grounds. The festival continues to receive an Iowa City/Coralville Convention and Visitors Bureau advertising grant for Tourism and the Arts, and the Organization and Community Cultural grants from the Iowa Arts Council. The Iowa City Jazz Festival has been the proud recipient of the following awards:

1 Tourism and the Arts Awards are presented annually by the Iowa Division of Tourism in the Department of Economic Development. The Iowa City Jazz Festival was selected from over 200 nominations for 13 awards.
2 JazzSet has recognized the exceptional quality of the festival by recording various artists from the festival on three occasions. The show is broadcast every week over more than 200 stations nationwide. |
